We recommend you arrive at the Air Transat check-in counter at least three hours prior to flight departure. When checking in, be sure to specify that you have selected your seat. Seat selection must be claimed at least 75 minutes prior to departure. In the event they are not claimed, the seats can be released without possibility for refund.
Pre-assigned seating for passengers with special needs
Air Transat's Information and Seat Selection Centre ( (44) 20 7616 9187 / 00800-28 38 76 73) pre-assigns appropriate seating for all passengers with special needs up to 2 days prior to departure for flights departing from Canada, up to 3 days prior to departure for flights departing from all European cities. Once a passenger has identified him/herself as a person with special needs, their call will be transferred to a dedicated agent within the department. The passenger will be asked to provide any relevant information, so that together they can discuss and determine the special seating requirement. All efforts will be made to accommodate the passenger with a suitable seat most appropriate for their needs. The seat selection fees may be waived, and passengers may be asked to provide a medical letter supporting their request. We encourage our passengers with special needs to contact our Information and Seat Selection Centre directly to speak to our agents in order to discuss their specific requirements. Limit of liability
Upon payment of the charges associated with seat selection, Air Transat will grant you your assigned seat. Refunds will not be provided to passengers who cancel their reservation prior to travel. Should a substitution of aircraft occur, Air Transat will assign an equivalent seat. If passengers do not get an equivalent seat, they will be entitled to a refund of their seat selection fee. In order to process a refund, passengers must submit a copy of the boarding pass they received and their contact information within 30 days of their return flight. Any claims made after this deadline or without the information requested will not be processed. Air Transat's liability is limited to refunding the charges incurred for seat selection.
